• Clean the home top to bottom. Making sure the house is straightened up and in perfect condition is key throughout all showings. Having a clean aroma definitely helps too!

• Declutter the home everywhere. This includes all of the rooms, but also organizing closets too. Clutter makes rooms and closets look smaller than they are.

• Make sure the paint is in good shape. Freshen up any walls or trim that show excessive wear. Neutral colors are always best as they appeal to the masses. Tend to any deferred maintenance that is visible as well to ensure you show buyers your home is well cared for.

• Don’t forget the outdoors. It is the first and last thing all buyers will see so make a great impression. Adding flowers or potted plants at the entry ways, having landscaping tidy and a freshly painted door are all good ideas to consider. Create a good patio space for entertaining. Make sure to clean patio furniture and have fresh flowers in each pot.
