The town of Marblehead lies on the northshore of Massachusetts and is home to approximately 20,000 residents. The beautiful and scenic landscape has been home to many in the fishing and yachting industry. During the latter part of the 19th century, Marblehead experienced a brief stint in the shoemaking business with factories springing up in the town. During that period, yachting and yacht clubs became more and more popular in the town and was soon home to six clubs in the area.
Today, Marblehead still remains a popular destination for many. Some looking to visit the beautiful coastline while others seek the perfect nautical town to call home. Immersed in history, Marblehead has over 200 homes and buildings that predate the Revolutionary War.
