Our review of the real estate market in Marblehead for single family homes as of 2/1/19 indicates that 30 homes are currently on the market which is up 15% compared to 2018 and the average sale price is up by 11%. The most significant change from 2018 to 2019 is that the number of houses sold year-to-date increased 77.78% from 9 to 16. In the condo/townhouse market inventory is up from 5 to 6 for a 20% increase. In Massachusetts overall, the single family inventory is up 115.96% and the average sales price is up 5.42%.
